The fine print, in plain language.

By creating a Provyn account or using the Provyn service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Provyn LLC.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for any activity that happens under your account. Provyn uses one-time email links for sign-in, so there is no password to manage; do not share the link emails.

You agree to provide accurate, current information when you sign up and to keep that information up to date. Misrepresenting your identity, credentials, or work history is grounds for account termination.

When you use Provyn you agree not to:

• Cheat on assessments. This includes copy-pasting answers, using AI assistants outside permitted parameters, having someone else take the test for you, or sharing assessment content publicly.
• Scrape or bulk-export verified candidate data without the candidates' consent. The recruiter directory is for one-on-one outreach, not list-building.
• Impersonate another candidate or recruiter, including using a work email you do not control.
• Probe the platform for vulnerabilities outside an authorized program. Responsible disclosure goes to provyn.app@outlook.com.
• Use the Provyn API or webhooks to fan candidate data into a third-party CRM without disclosing the source to the candidate.

Provyn offers two paid plans:

• Recruiter Pro: $149 per month with a free 30-day trial. Charged in USD via Stripe. Auto-renews monthly until cancelled. Cancel anytime from /recruiter/billing.
• Candidate Pro: pricing posted at /profile/upgrade. Unlocks unlimited retakes and full percentile rank.

AppSumo lifetime tiers, when offered, follow AppSumo's seller policy (60-day refund). See /refund-policy for the full refund window across all plan types.

We may change pricing for new subscriptions at any time. Existing paid subscriptions stay on the price you signed up at until the next renewal cycle, with at least 30 days notice of any increase.

Provyn owns the platform, including assessment content, scoring algorithms, the recruiter directory UI, and the JsonLd / credential-rendering code. You may not reproduce or redistribute Provyn-authored content without written permission.

Candidates own their credentials. The credential URL (https://provyn.app/credential/[id]) is yours to share anywhere, forever, and we do not revoke it without cause. The promise is "Prove it once. Own it forever."

Recruiters do not own candidate data accessed through the directory. Saving a candidate to a shortlist or pushing them to your ATS does not transfer ownership of that candidate's information; it is licensed for your hiring use only.

You can delete your account at any time from /settings -- Account. Soft delete has a 7-day recovery window; after 7 days a daily cron hard-deletes your row plus linked submissions and shortlists.

Provyn may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms (especially the cheating, scraping, and impersonation clauses). Termination notices go to your account email; we provide a reason whenever possible.

The service is provided "as is" without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Provyn LLC's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is capped at the greater of $100 or the amount you paid Provyn in the 12 months before the claim arose.

We do not warrant that hiring decisions made on the basis of Provyn credentials will produce any particular outcome. The credential is a verified data point, not a guarantee of fit.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from your use of Provyn must be brought in a state or federal court located in King County, Washington.
