Proof of skills an employer can check
A Provyn credential shows the score, the percentile and how each skill area went, from a timed, proctored assessment. It is the same assessment everyone else takes, not a course certificate.
Community colleges
Provyn gives students in your career and technical programs a verified, proctored skills credential that employers can check in one click, and gives your program a totals-only outcomes report for each cohort. We're opening a small number of community college partnerships.
A Provyn credential shows the score, the percentile and how each skill area went, from a timed, proctored assessment. It is the same assessment everyone else takes, not a course certificate.
Every credential has a public verification page, and anyone can check a credential ID at provyn.app/verify. An employer or a program reviewer doesn't have to take a PDF on trust.
Multiple-choice and most short answers are marked instantly. SQL is graded by running the query against a real database. Written and design answers are marked twice, independently, against a published rubric, and a person decides any case where the two disagree.
Students join your cohort link themselves and can leave it. They can hide their location, keep their profile out of search engines, hide it from recruiters, or make it private. Individual results belong to them.
Each cohort (a class, a term or a program's completers) gets its own join link. When the cohort ends we prepare a report from the students who joined and send it to your contact.
Totals only. Nothing is shown for a cohort until at least 5 students have finished an assessment, and any assessment taken by fewer than 5 is left out, so no individual can be picked out. Individual results are shared only by students who choose to.
Each assessment's page shows its format and the skills it covers. Browse assessments. Running a four-year program instead? See campus pilots.
Use the form below and choose "Community college staff" as your role; put your college's name under Institution. A person reads every request and replies by email. This doesn't create an account or commit you to anything.
